Every dad hopes his kid will outlive him. They say a baby born today will average 78 years. I'm betting Sarah lives out this century and will see a bunch of things I can only dream of. Yeah, some troubling things are going on...wars, environment, population, disease. I worry some about these and how they will affect my daughter. But I wonder more about the technological changes she will witness, changes that could even surpass those we've seen the past century.
I'm betting people will live longer due to medical advances. I also believe energy will be almost limitless once we get over fossil fuels and such. Life for Sarah, hopefully, will mean more peace and prosperity than those of today. Well, we can always hope.
